On behalf of the AGPC family, I welcome you and I hope you will find your search for God here. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of people from all walks of life through prayer and intercession.

The Executive Leadership of the Assemblies of God of Malaysia incepted the Assemblies of God Prayer Commission (AGPC) to help build the prayer movement in the Fellowship. Our mission is “Creating a Spirit Empowered Movement That Will Impact Lives and Transform Nations.” We endeavour to achieve this mission by having different prayer initiatives such as prayer schools, prayer rallies, fasting and prayer, and so forth. We also support the Fellowship with prayers including praying for our pastors and churches to exemplify Christ in righteousness. In the words of Proverbs 14:34 “Righteousness exalts a nation.”

Psalms 51:17 says, “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and a contrite heart—these, O God, You will not despise.” These are the words of David after he admitted his sins against the Lord. Then Nathan the prophet replied to David, “And the Lord has taken away your sin; you will not die.”

The greatest need and the greatest gift for every soul and nation is the forgiveness of sins by God. Because David’s sins were forgiven, Israel was not judged. In contrast, Saul was guilty in putting the Gibeonites to death, resulting in a famine for three consecutive years in the land (2 Samuel 21:1). As such, for lives to change and nations to transform, sins must be acknowledged for God to forgive.

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” The ways of God are healing of the people through brokenness, revival in the church through prayer and transformation of the land through righteousness. At AGPC, we set our hearts to seek the face of God for these to happen. We believe that God is ready to forgive and to pour out His Spirit on our nation.
