A Call to Fast and Pray.
21 Days of Fasting and Prayer. 22 March – 11 April
Theme: A New Season, A New Passion, A New Vision.

Dear Pastors, Credential Members and Intercessors,

We urge you to join us in fasting and prayer during this time of the fast spreading global Covid 19 pandemic. For many years, AGPC have had the annual 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer that culminates at Easter. This year, it is right in the midst of the Movement Control Order (MCO) that is to end on 14 April. Easter is on 12 April. We have restrictions on our movement and are concern of the spread of Covid 19 for the past few weeks. During this time of MCO, we ask individuals and churches to take time to pray to God to intervene in this time of crisis.

We need to call and cry to God in humility.

Acts 3:19 “Repent, then and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” and seek God’s mercy.
Psalms 142:1 “I cry aloud to the Lord, I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy.

Billy Graham said “To get nations back on their feet, we must get down on our knees.” We must look to God who is our Sovereign Lord and acts for us.
Together let’s pray God for

  1. A New Season of Revival and Harvest. His church will be “salt and light” for Christ. God will reveal Himself to all people. Many will “call upon the name of the Lord and be saved”. Romans 10:13. The church will be purified, reviitalised and come through stronger for Christ.
  2. A New Season to Passionately Love God. We will return to our first love. To ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ Matthew 22:37-39 To “love our neighbor as ourselves”.
  3. A New Season of Vision to be a Spirit empowered people of prayer. Jesus is our High Priest, we must step into our roles as priests. “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” 1 Peter 2:5-9.

All intercessors will level up their intercession and there will be new intercessors who will stand in the gap “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land…”

Ezekiel 33:20. We need to be watchmen for our family, community, city,
    country and the nations.

  4. A New Season of Healing and Miracles. “You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples” Psalms 17:14 His peace, His presence, His supernatural power and healing will be experienced in tangible ways. God will help and strengthen the government, health authority and medical frontliners in managing the situation. The Lord will curb, curtail the spread of the virus. It will come to an end and we will be victorious in this battle.

We shall continue to be steadfast in prayer and seek God. Visit our website for the Prayer Guides in four languages.
