“I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it…” Ezekiel 22:30. In the midst of turbulent and unprecedented times of the pandemic, political, economic, spiritual and social situations, we need to level up our prayers.
“I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions….So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.” Ezra 8:21-23 Like the Israelites, we need to fast humbly & pray fervently for the needs of our land.
Fasting is a needful spiritual discipline. As we fast, we take time to be in God’s presence, to seek Him. We fast and feast in His presence for all that we need. We search for Him & embrace more of Him.
